Master Chef Shigeru Hagiwara invites you to savour succulent Satsuma Wagyu from Kagoshima prefecture.
Renowned for its high marbling score, melt-in- the-mouth tenderness and delicious flavour, the prime beef is available for Gozen lunches and à la carte. Highlights for Gozen lunch include Satsuma Wagyu with wakame, chives, spicy miso and radish and Satsuma beef Hamburg with Ponzu Sauce.
Diners at Yamazato can also enjoy selections of hot pot with Satsuma Wagyu, mushrooms and mizuna, grilled Satsuma Wagyu rolled with asparagus with ginger sauce and leek, Satsuma Wagyu cheese hamburg with mushrooms and a miso demi-glace sauce, or a Teppan Satsuma Gyu set for two persons with sashimi or a kani salad, grilled vegetables, 300 g Satsuma gyu sirloin, garlic rice, pickles, miso soup, and a dessert of ice cream.
