Okura Kōyō Afternoon tea celebrates Japan’s Autumn colours

The Okura Prestige Bangkok is serving a special Kōyō Afternoon Tea to celebrate Japan’s spectacular Autumn colours. Kōyō describes the process of leaves changing colour as the colder weather makes it mark. Leaves begin to change colour firstly in Hokkaido, usually in mid September, before moving down the Japanese archipelago over the course of about 50 to 60 days.

 

The Okura Kōyō Afternoon Tea includes seasonal delicacies presented tastefully in a box. Items include matcha green tea cremeaux, Kōyō orange jam roll and Kōyō macaroons.

The tea also includes the popular traditional items such as smoked salmon  sandwiches; scones with cream and jam; and cakes. The Okura Kōyō Afternoon Tea, served daily from 1 September – 30 November 2015 during 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Up & Above Bar, is priced at Baht 960++ per set. Kōyō macaroons are available in boxes of four, six and eight and priced from Baht
